Departure from Milazzo at 8:30 am. We will first stop at Filicudi Pecorini or alternatively you can have a swim from the boat. Direct transfer to Alicudi’s port and stop for lunch (optional). In the afternoon, departure for Filicudi and visit from aboard to the spectacular Scoglio della Canna, Grotta del Bue Marino and Scoglio Giafante. Tour of the island of Filicudi and stop to visit the town and the small prehistorical village of Punta Pecorini. Return to Milazzo around 7.00 pm.
Departure from Milazzo at 8:00 am to Lipari, to admire from aboard to the old pumice pits and the white beaches. Our first stop will be at Rinella’s port (Salina), to visit the small village and to have lunch. We will then admire the Baia di Pollara. The second stop will be in Santa Marina Salina, to visit the picturesque town and to go shopping. On the way back, visit from aboard to the south-east coast of Lipari. Return to Milazzo around 6:45 pm.
Departure from Milazzo and direct transfer to Panarea for a two-hours stop that will allow you to visit the village, have a swim or to have lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon departure for Stromboli; we will admire from the sea the picturesque village of Ginostra. After docking in Stromboli Scari’s port, we will visit the island until sunset, then proceed to admire Stromboli exploding by night. Return to Milazzo between 10.00 pm and 11.00 pm, depending on sunset time.
Crossing suggestive landscapes, rich of different kinds of vegetation, we will reach the height of 2.000 meters to explore the highest active volcano in Europe: Mount Etna. We will visit the “Silvestri Craters” and the recent lava flows of 2001/2002. Free time for lunch. Then we will drive you to the beautiful Gorges of the Alcantara river, a natural canyon with its 50 mts-high sheer volcanic cliffs, deriving from ancient lava flows.
We will first visit the Donnafugata Castle and its beautiful gardens. The next stop will be at Puntasecca, tiny and nice coastal town, where you will admire from the outside the famous house of the Inspector, just in front of the sea. Free time for lunch on your own. In the afternoon we will visit Scicli, known in the TV Series as “Vigata”, and Ragusa Ibla, where you will be charmed by the fascinating baroque palaces and the shooting locations of the TV Series such as the well-known Duomo Square.
Depart to Piazza Armerina to visit the worldwide known Villa Romana del Casale, the richest, largest and most complex collection of late Roman mosaics in the world. Proceed to Caltagirone, famous for the production of ceramics and pottery. During the visit we will admire the Cathedral of San Giuliano, built during the Norman domination, the Mother Church of S. Maria del Monte and the 142-step monumental Staircase of Santa Maria del Monte, decorated with polychrome majolica tiles.
